Very astute for you to consider that your wiki may not work for your audience: "I think my choice of going for a less novel presentation tool may work against generating interest. I think what I ended up with was a rather text heavy explanation of my vision. It is a bit of information overload and does require a reader to be pretty jazzed about teacher-librarianship to read the entire resource through. What it needs is a greater variety of media that provide illustrations of what I am envisioning as my role as a 21st century teacher-librarian and provide alternate ways to provide input besides just text."

I'm having the same struggle with the SD83 T-L wiki I created. I may turn off the very audience I wanted to excite because it's too text heavy and probable information overload. I think we both needed to find clarity and synthesize through the writing process. Now we need to step back and simplify those ideas and use visuals to hook our target audience. Perhaps chunking it down into smaller info pieces may work well too; otherwise, we will overwhelm our audience. Note, however, I've loved your writings! When we started this course, I admit that I was thinking, "Not another BLOG," but have since noticed how far I have come from barely knowing about any of the Web 2.0 tools to feeling confident about using them in the classroom. My students have created movies, Podcasts, Prezi presentations, and Blogs this semester--truly learning in a social and collaborative environment--which is very impressive. I had so much fun applying what we have learned in our course to the classroom. It takes learning to a whole new level. My next step is to get more teachers on board through giving workshops.

Your Wiki is very impressive--showing the necessity for teacher-librarians more than ever before--indispensable.
